Mark Ress here with a quick update on what I’ve been up to.

Seems so many folks are affected by the economy and all this negative energy that I had a personal request from one of my students to fully commit and become a client. She came all the way from New York to work with me and learn the “Mark Ress style” of making money online working from home.

So far she’s been doing great. She’s learned a lot in about 2 days and we are going to be updating folks on Twitter, my mastermind and via email to her progress. The goal is for her to earn some cash before she leaves back to New York. Training with me, Mark Ress, is going to guarantee that she does learn how to easily build web sites to sell for her V.R.E. (Virtual Real Estate) investing as well as many other things we do.

My wife is going to be working with her as well so that she can hit the road running.

Update coming within a week on her progress and how much money she’s made learning how we operate our businesses as well as all the various methods of making money online.

Mark Ress
PEACE!

Mark Ress Introduces List Building for Newbies Part 1 of 4

Mark Ress here offering my blog readers a free four part series on List Building. This series is mainly geared for Newbies but hopefully everyone who read this can get something out of it.

Most Newbies don’t know how to build a list let alone what list building is so let’s define what List Building is. Keep in mind I am going to do this Mark Ress style so don’t expect a lot of the mumbo jumbo you would get from traditional Internet Marketers. I am going to keep this real and tell you how I’ve built nice size lists by doing things my way. Most would say “Mark Ress isn’t following the traditional list building methods” but let me tell you it works. I am making good money with my lists so I can less what other folks say.

Let’s begin shall we?

When a person focuses on building an email list it is known as list building. Why does a person need to grow an email list? An email list is needed and essential for the growth of a business and or company in today’s connected world. If you can manage your email list efficiently, half your battle is won. A big, growing email list provides you with an ultimate opportunity to grow your sales.

Every one has a reason for list building. You need to be very clear as to why you want to build a list. You must be able to enumerate your reasons for list building. Do you want more traffic to flow your way? Do you want to market a product? Do you want to share internet marketing ideas? You must be able to define objective, so that you can build your list building strategy.

The Basics Of List Building According To Mark Ress  ;)

List building takes a consistent effort on one’s part in order to be successful. You can not just push a button and magically build a list overnight unless you’re preparing ahead of time like with a joint venture or PPC. You have to put in foundational work ahead of time. The task sounds harder than it actually is. It involves a person taking action really. Finally, you are rewarded by the quantity and quality of people subscribing to  your list. Some of the steps have been listed here for your convenience. You can thank me later ;)

• No matter what strategy you employ for your list building, you must never ever spam. Such unethical and unprofessional practices never pay off and you want to not waste your efforts.

• Unless you have something of value to offer to your subscribers, they will not be interested in your invite to be a part of your list. Always try to incentivise folks by offering real value to your subscribers. If you can share some of your wisdom or expertise with your new members, that will make their enrollment worthwhile. But you need to be very good at it. Even I Mark Ress can do that.   ;)

• Take every opportunity that comes your way to interact with people. Interacting with those people who share your interest can be extremely helpful. If you are a self-development guru and you get an opportunity to do business with someone from your field, don’t hesitate. Invite that person to be a member of your list. That way, you will build the number as well as the quality of your list. If your members have a keen interest in your line of business, nothing could be better than that. Only these people are your potential customers because they are genuinely interested in your product.

Their email IDs will add value to your list. Never lose sight of the fact that in list building, quality plays a greater role than mere quantity.

•  If you have a website that invites your site visitors to be a part of your list, that is really great. That is an effortless way of list building. Remember that your invitation needs to very catchy.

In the end, you should always be aware of the basic fact of list building; just collecting email IDs is not enough. You must be able to retain your members by providing fresh and stimulating content to keep their interest alive.

I hope this helps you get started building your lists and at least learning how to build your list.

Mark Ress here with another quick update about what’s been going on in my life and business. First I have to start off with this quote:

“Hey Mark Ress, Where In The World Are You? We Need You Mark Ress!!”

One of my followers on Twitter and loyal Ustream fan sent me that message. I’ve been hearing this more and more lately but I told folks I was going to be focusing more on my family and business. I keep hearing how they can’t wait for my next training, teleseminar or webinar. I have to admit that when I, Mark Ress, put on a training I do like to over deliver. I’ll tell folks it’s a 90 minute training and they’ll go two or three hours. I have been known to go four hours plus! I just love helping people. That is who Mark Ress is and what he is about!

Anyways I’ve been working on a ton of projects for our business as well as home. We hired a housekeeper to help my wife out around the house. At first we told her once a week for three hours but now we’ve decided twice a week for two hours per visit. This way we see her more frequently and things will stay organized.  This is the arrangement for now anyways but I hope we can get her to start coming once a week for three hours a visit minimum so that my wife can rest more and take a break.  :)   She is so busy with four kids that I’d like for her to take it easy. On top of being a mom she is my partner in a lot of what we do online. She helps keep it all together. If it were not for my beautiful wife there would be NO Mark Ress!

I’ve received several requests for local speaking engagements but I told them “Mark Ress needs his rest people.” Yeah I’ve been tired lately and just not feeling like doing much. I got really sick about a week to a week and a half ago. REAL SICK! Thank God I am over it though. I had friends and family say “Yeah it is usually not like Mark to go down like that and for so long especially ending up in the hospital.” But I did. I guess I was just stubborn. I had one PitbullCoaching.com Mastermind member YELL at me in an email saying “Mark Ress you are just SO stubborn! GET TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY TO GET CHECKED OUT!” I finally did and turned out okay.

Well let’s see what else is going on… hmmmm? Oh going to a HUGE mixer next weekend where there are suppose to be like 50 city chambers and business organizations. One of my good friends wants us to go hang out. He said he needs to introduce Mark Ress to all these local business owner types and show them what’s up with Internet Marketing and what not. I told him maybe I’ll be up to it. For now Mark Ress is going to just take it easy.

God bless you and yours. Thanks for reading my blog post.

Mark Ress

Mark Ress here peeps with the latest “Who Is Mark Ress?” News. I heard from some of my PitbullCoaching.com Mastermind member’s that the “Dynamic Duo”Jeff & Lori were selling a recording of an interview we did about a year ago
on How To Start a Home Based Online Business or something to that effect. I was never under the impression that the call was ever going to be sold and would have been nice to know so I could have helped promote it since it was all about me
Mark Ress and how I make things happen online. I did call and speak with Jeff and Lori regarding the emails I received about them selling the interview. They were cool and said they thought it would help folks today in these bad economic times. They did have some really kind words about Mark Ress and even in their sales letter told the whole truth about Mark Ress.
Jeff and Lori bare witness to the goodness I try to bring to the world yet so many haters out there try to dis me and my name Mark Ress.

Moving on I hired four new virtual assistants to help brand the Mark Ress name and get it out there focusing on all the good I do for folks and the real knowledge I share. It’s not always about the money for me and my family but like I
always say if folks don’t have skin in the game then they’ll not put in their all. Example is the Mark Ress
PitbullCoaching.com Mastermind group
and how well some of the folks are doing their. They have taken my knowledge and teachings and ran with it. I am so very proud of some of my students. I would not doubt if some of these guys start hitting the $3,000 to $5,000 per month mark because they are that good at taking action. I’ve always said it is about taking MASSIVE COMMITTED action! I don’t claim to know everything but lots of folks know the real Mark Ress and would agree that I can blow things up when it comes to making money online.

I’ve also been playing with some new apps to help make branding the Mark Ress name and product line a whole lot better. Already I’ve seen traffic jump to my Mark Ress blog as well as my other sites by at least two to three hundred percent! Now that is HUGE!

Will be back soon to report more about what I have been up to and how thankful I am that God keeps blessing my family and I with our health, wealth and everything in between.

Mark Ress
